Oh, I love to help :D
I'm big into chick-lit and am not embarrassed to admit it. My personal favorite 5 are:
The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella:
This one's about this hi-flying legal professional who goes through a major upheaval at work and runs away (smirk). She, then, is mistaken for a domestic help and decides to play along. it's hilarious. She barely knows how to make the microwave work :D
Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares:
This one's more like a coming-of-age book for teens, but whoever put an age-bar on chick-lit, eh?
Falling Out of Fashion by Karen Yampolsky:
This one needs a good reading. Nothing else does enough justice, otherwise.
Fashionable Late by Beth Kendrick:
This is about Becca, who realizes that she wants more from life only when she's proposed to by her long-time boyfriend for marriage. It's hilarious!
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger:
Don't try telling me you've watched the movie. It doesn't suffice.
I think I only needed to help you put up 5, but I HAVE to mention the chick-lit Bible: Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding.
OK, done now.
No "confessions of Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella??
Hmmm hmmm two Phd's in Female psyche!!! good good the world might just survive.. and guys the chick flick list is incomplete without LOVE ACTUALY
Anu: As I wrote its diffcult to pick just 5. I think minmum of 50 should be more like it.
Now the critic's review:
WEAR : If we are talking WOMEN, the pic is NOT complete without THE SARI...(u might clinch at the thot of a babe in a sari, but nothing compares to the elegance of this 9 yards of drape)
SCENT : we HAVE TO include HUGO BOSS in the top 5 (be it BOSS WOMEN, DEEP RED or FEMME, the boss really knows the scents of their women)
PAIN FOR BEAUTY :
Don't underestimate the normal waxing, dude. Its no walk on rose petals, either...especially when u go for a whole body wax and they put the hot wax over your stomach and bums and everywhr else and go STRIP! we go HELPPPPP!!!!
CHICK FLICKS : Pls include MEAN GIRLS & NEVER BEEN KISSED, also.
CHICK LITS : GIRL ALONE by Rupa Gulab(Its tooooooo good). And ofcourse, the SHOPAHOLIC series by Sophie Kinsella. Also BRIDGET JONES' DIARY by Helen Fielding, for sure.
ABOUT THE WOMEN YOU'LL NEVER DATE:
Well, no comments!
Priyanka-
1)Sari- Without doubt! Most versatile of all women clothing, it could be sexy , elegant even wild!
2)Scent – Hugo boss- Deep red is my choice.
3)Pain for beauty- If you can stand the wax pain then tattoo is a piece of cake. Go for it!
4)Chick flicks- As I said picking just 5 is way too difficult.
5)Chick lits- I got to read Shopaholic series!
6)No Comments- Ah! C’mon be a sport.
